Wealth Management Business Analyst - London / Hybrid

Join a successful Wealth Management company to help build their Wealth Management platform (front and back office). You will be the Business Solutions Consultant to roll out the new set of products on a very ambitious roadmap working with Wealth managers and IFA's so to apply you MUST come from a Wealth Management background (not asset management) as this will be key for the successful application.

The ideal candidate should be innovative, enjoy solving problems, and be passionate about being at the forefront of transformation. They will need you to come from a background of working from a SaaS provider of front & back-office solutions for financial advisers and wealth managers.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Consultant will become an expert in the company's Wealth Platform. Key responsibilities include designing bespoke enhancements/interfaces, analysing source data, and planning and implementing data strategies.

What the job involves:

• As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, complete analysis, and coordinating design completion of features.
• Lead business requirement and design sessions with customers, business leaders, product management, and architecture,
• Create user journeys that consider the full user experience,
• Create documentation of change, including user stories and acceptance criteria, that meets the expectations of stakeholders, incorporates technical design feedback, and accounts for exception scenarios,
• Translate stakeholder requirements and design into detailed requirements,
• Create wireframes, as appropriate, and provide input on wireframes to ensure they meet requirements and provide an intuitive user experience,
• Update living product documentation to represent implemented change,
• Assist with user acceptance testing,
• Communicate change to stakeholders, internal and external,
• Prioritize backlogs, as appropriate

Experience required:

• Highly experienced as a Business / Product analyst working for a SaaS provider of front & back-office solutions for financial advisers and wealth managers
• Solid experience with software or platform services in the wealth management industry
• Understanding of discretionary wealth management (e.g. managed portfolio services) and advisory wealth management (IFA networks etc).
• Excellent experience of stakeholder management or client relationship management.
• Structured data analysis and process mapping
• Financial Planning experience within wealth management
• Ability to understand the business and their problem statements and make sound decisions, taking into consideration all relevant factors
• Working independently to elicit, validate and document systems requirements in user stories, appropriate Acceptance Criteria and business testing stories and outcomes
• Proven ability to work cross-teams and synthesize feedback and input from customers, business leaders, product management, and engineering
• Provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints to prioritize and drive commitments
• Work with minimal supervision and review and exercise independent judgement
